From 10-13 New Machine - Windows 10 - No 14

Hi

I know this has been asked in the context of the upgrade sale to 13 (yes still more than had I bought at release :) )

I am currently using Vegas 10 and for most things it does what I need. The reason I am contemplating movie to 13 now are as follows

1. Getting a new machine - with a clean install - does it pay to go with the latest
2. New Machine will have Windows 10 - not sure of Vegas 10 in Windows 10
3. Assuming / IF this is last version of Vegas - would it be better to have last version - and theoretically the one they will make updates to.
4. Assuming that going forward - various plug-ins will be more compatible with the latest version and maybe not older ones. (one day I will finally buy BCC but the price is killing me :) )

Reasons not to (besides shelling out money)?
Is 13 as least as stable of last version of 10 was.

Thanks for your input
Allen

Vegas 10 works good here in Win 10-64.

The biggest two upsides (for me) if I upgraded to Vegas 13 would be faster preview (because of GPU support) and more plugin support (10 supports the same plugin standards as 13, but 11+ has less issues for some reason, I forget why).

I use Vegas 10 on Windows 10 64-bit with no problems.
Also contemplating upgrading to V13 due to current sale...

I'd love to hear your decisions (in the next 3 days :)

Anything that works in 10 but now does not work in 13?

Thanks again - Happy Gobble

Upgraded to Windows 10, made comparison and decided to stick with Vegas Pro 10. Why? Does everything I need and 13 doesn't add anything useful (IMHO!).
