build 232 on Windows 7 64bit i have tried full uninstalls (including deletion of folders and reg keys as per: https://www.custcenter.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4844) running as admin, and tried all the os compatibility settings to no avail. other searches suggested i might be missing some kind of a 3rd party component, like quicktime (its installed) but i cant figure out what it is. any ideas? |

Confirm that applications such as QT are not running in the background, some of which, may be hidden. Checking the Task Manager/Processes could give you a clue to what's running but 'hidden' Try disabling anti-virus/malware apps as well.. at least temporarily. They have been known to cause problems (though I haven't read of any recent issues). |
