Hello everyone, I am a newbie to SF, looking for some help working with the Batch Converter. I have several speech recordings of the same length. I'd like to tell the Batch Converter to trim each track to a specific region (eg. from t1 to t2). So far, I've read a lot about using Auto Trim/Crop function when there's silence around, but I have no silence to look for, only the mentioned time points and the region in-between I want to keep and save to a new wave file. I wonder how to do this simple, but tedious thing, when you have >100 files, automatically. Is there any "record script"-function available in SF Pro 11? Your help is widely appreciated! Thanks and regards, Chris |

Sound Forge has a scripting API that should allow you to do what you're after. There is a separate forum for scripting located directly below the Sound Forge - PC forum. You should post your question there. PS - I'll probably be the one responding, but it will keep things cleaner. -Rob. |

Hello Rob, thanks a lot for directing me towards scripting. Searching for help with scripting, I discovered a former message from you which seems to offer a solution for my case as well. If not, I'll head to the scripting forum. Thanks and regards, Chris PS: The message I mentioned: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/showmessage.asp?messageid=760920 Message last edited on11/16/2015 7:16:41 PM byscv. |
