Subject:Gain Channel plug in and K-Meter Plug for Acid XP?

I'm thinking of getting an XP machine for Sound Forge and Acid Pro 3 (or maybe v6) as thats all I need, but can anyone recommend a good Gain plug in for each channel to mix down and a master channel K-Metering plug in for Acid Pro?

As its been a while, I can't remember if Acid Pro 3 uses VST effects?

If not (I only need Acid 3,0 and love it) are there any free DX plug ins that would do the 2 jobs above? :)

VST Effects weren't added until ACID Pro 5.0.
