Subject:Can's Hear Myself While Recording

Please help!

I have Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio Ver 10. I open the program up, ARM it. I can then see the levels move, but I don't hear a thing in my headphones while speaking into the microphone. Monitor box is checked.

I can record my voice no problem, and THEN, I can hear it when I play it back. I just can't HEAR myself while recording period. ANY assistance would be MOST helpful. Thanks!

Is there another program I need to purchase to make this work?

This is more than likely related to the interface you're using. What equipment are you using to record?
