What audio render for Blu-ray

I am getting confused .... using Movie Studio 12 and DVD Architect 5
So far have rendered out all my video tracks to 1920 x 1080, 25p
Now need to render the audio

I read in the Sony guide that states to use AC3 as it will not need re-encoding, yet also read in the DVD architect manual "AC3 audio is only for DVD"

Yet on Sony product page it states for DVD architect
Supported Formats: Audio: .aa3, .ac3, .aif, .ogg, .oma, .sfa, .vox, .w64, .wma

So complete conflict from those 2 Sony sources.

A 3rd Sony source (https://www.custcenter.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4875/~/render-settings-for-a-blu-ray-disc) states to use AC3 or .wav

On several tutorials it advises render audio as: .w64
While on forums have also seen that I should render to uncompressed PCM.

In my case source audio media is a mixture of 192kb and 256 kp MPEG (MP3) files.
Can anybody advise should I (indeed can I use ) .ac3 or should I use .wav, .w64, or PCM

Although DVD Architect can read a number of audio (and video) formats, using an ideal, optimized format will mean that the program won't have to re-encode your audio.

I'd recommend outputting as Sony w64.

Although the SCS KB is not quite clear on that, DVD Architect Studio 5 Help says this:

Audio format.

See DVD A Studio 5 online Help: "Media file settings for Blu-ray Disc projects" for
PCM Audio (.wav or .w64)
