Hi, I've searched in the forums but I can't find anything that tells me how to change from 44hz to 96hz when i use Vinyl Recording and Restoration Tool in Sound Forge Audio Studio 10.0. I 've looked in preferences but can't find any "default option" to change. I know how to change it when I start a new sound file. Message last edited on10/25/2015 5:56:06 AM byKensta. |

Up-sampling to 96k will have minimal quality difference. Is there a specific reason you need a higher sample rate? Processing aside, the file quality will not increase after the initial digitization. .. Sort of like re-saving a low res MP3 to WAVE, it will be the original low quality file in PCM format. (and like trying to turn a VHS tape to HD) That said, "Process> Re-sample" has a 96k option. SF pro, don't know if AS has the 96k option. |

I don't want to upsampling, I want to record in 96hz and I can do that if I use "NEW" soundfile but not in "Vinyl Record and Restoration" wich is simplier if I want to record a LP. |

Simple may be irrelevant, if the other method provides what you want. |
