Acid Music Studio 10 not responding -ACID Product Family

Well, I have worked with Acid Music Studio 10 for some time now and it has given me the ability to express myself through my original music I make, it has become a very essential tool for me to use in order to share what I create through my music, although I have found a problem that I cannot solve, mainly because I do not understand why it happens. I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 recently, and before the upgrade, I had an issue where Acid Music Studio 10 would become unresponsive when trying to open it, so, what I had to do in order to solve the issue was to simply close the program and reopen it. Now, after the upgrade, it was working normally, no issues whatsoever, then today, it started again to become unresponsive right after clicking the program icon in order to open it. It doesn't even work if you try to open it from a saved file. I tried restarting the laptop a couple of times, or, waiting for the program to response, but every attempt proved unsuccessful. I really don't know what to do, it does not want to open at all, and I am growing desperate due to the fact that all my work is there and I can't get it back because I can't get the program to open. I have paid for the software, it is supposed to be up-to-date and whatnot, and still, it does not want to work properly on my laptop. Again, I am running Windows 10, and these are my laptop's specifications, I hope it can help a bit. All you did was bring all of your problems with you from 8.1 to Windows 10. This was a bad idea. I would start over with a fresh install of Windows 10. I saw several problems in the Toshiba forums relating to Windows 10 that this update fixes. Also did you go to the Toshiba Support web site and download all of the updated drivers for Windows 10 (64-bit) and install them? It looks like there are some sound driver updates which may affect audio programs like Music Studio. ~jr

I know this is not what you want to hear, but that was a clue that you should have done a clean install of Windows 10 and not an upgrade install. All you did was bring all of your problems with you from 8.1 to Windows 10. This was a bad idea.

I would start over with a fresh install of Windows 10. This is something you should seriously consider.

Have you installed Microsoft's Cumulative Update for Windows 10: August 5, 2015? I saw several problems in the Toshiba forums relating to Windows 10 that this update fixes.

Also did you go to the Toshiba Support web site and download all of the updated drivers for Windows 10 (64-bit) and install them? It looks like there are some sound driver updates which may affect audio programs like Music Studio.
