Hi - In your "Sound Forge Pro and Spectralayers Pro" tutorial, the one that's 1:15:00 long, at 45 minutes you copy and paste part of the lower frequencies of a sax solo into the upper register, to replace a part lost in the process of cleaning. I understand about setting the transparencies lower than 100% but I don't see why the higher the overtones, the fainter when you paste them. It's great that they do that, but looking at it as a Photoshop-like process, why wouldn't they paste in as exact duplicates of the material you copied, i.e., identical or nearly identical gains?
