I have been looking all over the place for tutorials for Sound Forge Audio Studio version 10.0 tutorials on Mastering and all that goes into that overarching theme, especially setting EQ. During my search it appears that I can only find tutorials for the Pro version of Sound Forge which is out of my expense range now. I also find that many of the features within the version I am using simply don't work. Is that because the version I have is the light version and thus to get me to upgrade Sony has decided to show me what I don't get to use until I spend hundreds of more dollars more? I know this sounds cynical, my apologies for that. I am frustrated at the lack of support for this product and I feel like I am spinning my wheels trying to solve a problem there is no solution to. If someone, anyone else out there knows what I am talking about and can offer some constructive advice on how to resolve this issue, I will be terribly grateful. In my case, I hope it is just operator error. Thanks for all the help. |

Your cynical view is probably closer to the truth than not. Sony usually only publishes one help file and one manual for both the Pro & Studio versions. Sometimes the features that are only available in Pro are indicated as such so you at least know you don't have it, but sometimes they're not. There have been more than a few mentions of this in these forums over the years. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have here and many folks will be happy to help you. Of course, i only have the Pro version so i might not be aware of what you don't have. Still though, most of the concepts apply regardless of the number of tools available. |

You can't post it directly on the SCS forums though. Soundcloud and Dropbox are common sites for file sharing. |

90% of what I do in SF Pro can also be done in SF Audio Studio. The principles, implementations, and nomenclature are somewhat consistent across audio workstations, not just Sound Forge. |

Help system anomalies aside, it's a bit like expecting a car Owners' Manual to teach you how to drive ! Google for Ozone mastering tips. The principles are the same in any application or plugin. geoff |
