You need to make sure that the user account that will use the software is the same user account that installed it. Since your user accounts are not admins, Windows is installing it under the admin account. Because of the way Microsoft saves DirectX presets at the user level, our plug-ins must be installed by the account that will actually use them so that the presets are associated with the proper user account.

Solution:
If you want to use them with a non-administrator account, you need to temporarily make the normal user an administrator, then install the software as that user, then run the software once to license it as that user, then make them a regular (non-administrator) user again. Re-install using this procedure and you should be fine. You were correct in answering "no" to the Uninstall question the second time.

Once again, the reason you need to do this is because Windows security doesn’t allow normal users to install software under their account even with elevated privileges. Instead of temporarily giving the user elevated administrative privileges like other operating systems, Windows switches to the administrator account which cuts the current user account out of the install and we have no way of know what user we are installing presets for. This odd Windows behavior is out of our control but the procedure above will work around this Windows limitation.
