Subject:Weird .wav file problem Posted by: mtb Date:2/26/2002 4:37:58 AM Strange problem - I'm on Acid Pro 3.0 and all of a sudden (as in I didn't change anything) almost all my wav files sound terrible. All are played very slow and with some sort of weird compression ((multiple hits on drum sounds etc) both when I preview them in the explorer window in Acid AND when I import them into the project. The files in the current project haven't been affected and all the wav files are fine when played through any other application other than Acid. Is there some effects setting going on or have I got a serious problem with the soundcard or something? Heelllp!

You are saying that other applications are playing the .wav files just fine, so it doesn't seem to be the soundcard with the problem. Check to make sure you are using the correct sample rates in Acid.
