Subject:Audio 10 CD assembly

The instructions in Help I find useless. I have a CD ready to go, but I need to be able to separate the audio. Right now I have 1hr4mins of audio all one track because when inserting the pieces they butt together. I need to get the two seconds between each cut. Can't split them, move them or anything; does not give me the ability of separation. Can't alter the track any. Thoughts appreciated.

Insert | Silence .

You can have any gap you like between tracks - doesn't have to be 2 sec.

Better still, use CD Architect.

Yes.. CD Architect is the preferred software for audio CDs. However, I don't think it was included with the budget priced SF Audio Studio.
That said, the disc must be burned as a Red Book disc-at-once to get separate tracks from a single file. (w/ tracks inserted, with or without silent spaces)

I cannot figure out how to get "Disc At Once" to even show as executible, and I'm not familiar with the term "Red Book." Thanks for the response.

A Red Book compliant CD is a standard that adheres to specific formatting, and should be compatible to playback on most players.
"Disc-At-Once" is the important attribute in this case though. Assuming you know how to add CD tracks (highlight segment/song, select "Insert> CD track" [ 'N' key shortcut ], repeat for each subsequent track) Select 'Tools> 'Burn Disc-at-Once Audio CD'.

This assumes AS-10 is similar to SF Pro.

Right. The "disc at once" option isn't available until you've added disc tracks. That's most likely the problem here.
