I just started experimenting with midi. I don't have a midi keyboard. I am just using the piano roll to plot notes. I am wondering if there is a way to control how abruptly the note starts and ends. I have looked all around and tried different settings but nothing seems to control this. The notes, by default start and end rather abruptly. I would like them to taper off a little bit. if there is any way to control this please let me know. thanks! |

You can manual enter a velocity number. Tedious. geoff |

Yea, you really want to buy a MIDI Keyboard Controller even if it's just a small 25 key one. It really makes a huge difference because the velocity will never sound natural if you are entering them in manually. ~jr |

thanks. i have tried entering the velocity number. however this just appears to adjust the volume of the note. |
