Acid doesn't run VSTs very well, and I'm not sure if it's a limitation of the program, my hardware, or just something I'm doing wrong. Here's an example: I'm working on a song using two VST synths and an audio track with drum samples in it. The VSTs are Cableguys Curve 2 and T-Force Alpha Plus. T-Force is a simple bassline playing one note at a time and Curve is a repeating 3 note arpeggio (Essentially Acid is playing 2 notes at a time, from two different VSTs). Everything is working fine, until I try to add 3 note chords with Curve (Now Acid is playing 4 notes at a time, 3 from Curve and 1 from T-force). This causes Acid to completely wig out and start playing at an extremely slow tempo, and pausing/stopping the track does nothing. If I'm lucky the track will play itself out and will simply stop when it gets to the end, but more often then not the whole program crashes. Are there any workarounds that I can use? Am I making a really obvious mistake? Message last edited on9/7/2015 2:28:21 PM byDorianmusic. |
