Subject:Clip deleted, but WAV file for it remains on HD

Last night I was recording a portion of a song. It took me over 100 tries to get it right. Every time, I deleted the clip from the track and just recorded a new clip.
I noticed that on my hard drive ALL the 100+ clips that I deleted from the track are still there as WAV files. This is totally unecessary and is going to eat up my hard drive.
is there a setting to make it actually delete the wav file when I delete the associated clip?

thanks!

You deleted the clips immediately in the post-record dialogue ? Should have been completely removed.

Or if you deleted the clip from the timeline it is intended for it to actually to remain on the computer. Haven't got Acid here at the moment, but from memory there is an option (right-click or from an explorer or media/clip-pool type window) to delete the actual media.

geoff

That's how my copy of Acid Music Studio 9 works.

I just clicked on the clip I just recorded, and hit the delete key. I don't get a post record dialog.
