Subject:how to delete last take with one keystroke?

When I do a recording in Movie Studio (which is almost the exact same interface) if I made a mistake, I can just hit the delete key and the take is deleted and the cursor goes right back to where I started that take, so I can redo it. All it takes is one keystroke on the keyboard. With Acid, I have to first click on the take I just made to select it, then hit the delete key, and then manually move the cursor to the place I want to restart from. It's much more tedious. sometimes I redo a take 20+ times before I get it right, so this makes a big difference. I think there is a setting to make it act like it is in Movie Studio, so I can delete the last take and go right to the starting point again in one keystroke. but I have been searching all over for it and I can't find it. does anyone know how to enable this? thanks! gary in vermont |
