AP7 wont see VSTis on one machine but OK on other -ACID Product Family

Subject:AP7 wont see VSTis on one machine but OK on other Posted by: ohmayamusic Date:8/19/2015 7:03:39 AM I am completely stumped as to why AP7 will not see my Omnisphere and Stylus VSTi instruments but will see my NI instruments. They are in the same VST folder on my Desktop PC. The other DAW I have installed, FLStudio - sees all of them perfectly but AP will not. I am running AP7 on a Window 7 64 bit PC with 8GB RAM and an i7 chip. The VSTs are older ones so I am sure they are 32 bit. I am running the 32 bit version of FL Studio 12 and the latest version of AP7. I also have a Windows 7 laptop with basically the same setup and the same two DAWS and on that machine, AP7 sees ALL of the VSTs. So my question is what should I be looking at on the desktop to find out why it does not see the VSTs on that machine? Thanks!
Subject:RE: AP7 wont see VSTis on one machine but OK on other Reply by: JohnnyRoy Date:8/19/2015 7:26:30 AM The only thing I can think of is in ACID Pro 7 go into Options \| Preferences \| VST and make sure that the Paths that ACID is looking for are really the folders that the VST's are in. I did that and it didnt work, but I just had a brianstorm...the one that works has one hard drive, C: and the VSTs are in a directory on the thay drive. The other PC that doesnt work has several partitioned drives. Maybe the VSTs have to be on the C: drive to be recognized...I will try that and let you know!

This is very frustrating not able to work till now because of this I hope SONY looks up this matter & fix it.
