I have some current frustration with the plugin chain preset handling in SF10.. So much that I am really trying to find another solution because SF10 is not really cutting it for me in the plugin chain category.

I have multiple 'corrupt' files which are unrecoverable, I have lost so many preset chains..

When in SF12 coming out? Will they address this silly encrypted file location nonsense??

I suspect you must have problems that are to do with something other than SF. SF10 to SF12 - what about SF11 ?

I don't think so..

just re-create steps

1 create a plugin chain eg 5 plugins.
2 close SF and remove one plugin (temporarily)
3 restart SF and try to load old chain. You lose the whole chain

At least that is the behavior I get here..

Ah, now I get it !

Yep, no way around that - the chain is now invalid and won't load . Restore the missing plugin and it comes alive again ?
