Move markers when events move in ripple edit?

I just updated to Vegas 13, and I'm surprised that when I turn on Ripple Edit and insert an event, all the existing events move to accommodate it, but my markers stay exactly where they were -- that is, all the markers are now in the wrong places.

In the Help system I don't find any evident way to force the markers to move along with the events they're associated with.
There's got to be a way to do this, yes...?

Check to see if the ripple is effecting everything or just what's on the track.

Very simple. On the bottom task bar where the Auto-Ripple icon is located, click on the arrow to the right which will bring up a menu where you can select what type of auto-ripple you want including the two that move markers and regions. You probably have "Affected Tracks" selected.

Use the little drop down arrow next to the ripple icon on the toolbar to choose the right mode (genius feature), there's also a "post edit ripple" feature off the edit menu, all three types of ripple have their own shortcut key (another genius feature). You can apply the type of ripple you want AFTER you moved your item. Whew, how many times have I done that, only to undo and turn ripple off etc. Now I almost always leave ripple OFF and just apply the right shortcut key to the move immediately after. Genius, I say.
