I'm getting a buzzing noise from every device I record with in ACID. I'm an experienced ACID user and this is new in ACID 3.0 (didn't happen in older versions). My Keyboard, my guitar, and mic, all of these will get the buzzing / hissing noise after recording. I know it's ACID and not hardware/configuration or IRQ conflicts with my sound card since recording with SoundForge5 or any other tool works fine! It's real annoying and NR doesn't help. I'm about ready to throw ACID out the window! Anyone have this problem? Thx |

What is your computer setup? Hardware and OS... Maybe I could help from there... |

PC = P300 OS = WinXP Pro MB = Asus P2L297 RAM = 200MB DISK = 4.5GBFree Sound = SoundBlaster AWE64 (ISA) P.S. This is the 1st ACID Version that does this hissing thing and all my other software records fine... (without hissing) Tried many options within ACID but no luck.. Thx |

And you have all your most recent drivers? Have you tried uninstalling it cleanly from your system (uninstall and remove all of the Acid folders from your Program Files folder), and then reinstalling? Might be that the new build requires a stronger computer... but still... Let me know the answers to my first two questions and I will look more into it after I get that answer... -Andre Barriault |

A new sound card fixed the problem.. It might have been something to do with full-duplex in ACID 3.0.. I bought a new Audigy and it works fine.. Thx Paul |
