Subject:MAC version of Acid

I would love to see a MAC version of Acid 3.0, or all the Sonic Foundry products to that affect. I want to switch to a MAC system, but what's holding me back is the Sonic Foundry software which I adore. I could buy a MAC and run the Sonic Foundry programs through Virtual PC, but I would be scared of stability problems. Many mainstream artists (such as Trent Reznor and BT) have stated in the past that they would love to see this product on the MAC platform. Should I continue dreaming about this, or it might happen in the near future?

I really hope that it stays pc only because companies that try to please too many people all the time paint themselves into a corner and please only a lucky few...ie: cubase[steinberg]. Do research on a good computer build [ie: cpu, mobo, hd,soundcard,etc...] and email sonic foundry your results+post it on here[second opinion]. I'm sure the setup you end up with won't hurt your wallet as much as a mac will and you'll get better performance as well.

I got a great PC (AMD 1.2 GHZ, 512 megs of RAM, 30gig hard drive, Sound Blaster Audigy, Geforce 2, Raid card etc...). But during my two years at college, and from my day job, I learned to appreciate the MAC format. It's a stable platform, great user interface blah blah blah... MAC's are just more stable... Oh well, I don't want to start that MAC vs PC thread... Cause I also love PC... Anyway, a Mac version of ACID would be great! But I will keep dreaming and clinging to my Sonic Foundry products on my PC
