Subject:Problem with recording in Acid Pro 3.0

I'm having a problem with recording in Acid Pro 3.0. After I play back what I just recorded there is a lot of clicking and popping sounds in my vocals, but it's not feedback. I know it's not my recording equipment, since I have a good soundcard, pre-amp, and mic, so I'm guessing the clicking and popping sounds are because of my computer. I only have a 350 mhz processor, so I was wondering if that might be the problem or is it something else?

Can you give me more details on your computers specs and operating system.
