I'm using the Delta 66 card and Acid 3.0 Pro detects the signal since I can see it when I hit the record button, yet I hear nothing! It's impossible to monitor the track in order to overdub, is there a solution. HELP, I'm about to do terrible things to my PC. :) |

Make sure that ACID's default playback device is set to your soundcard and *not* Microsoft Sound Mapper. This is done by going to Options -> Preferences -> Audio tab (choose "Windows Classic Wave Driver" for Audio Devie Type). Also, make sure that your Multimedia control panel is similarly configured. This is done by going to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Multimedia -> Audio tab. Set both record and playback devices to your soundcard and *not* to Microsoft Sound Mapper. You might also make sure that you have the latest drivers for the Delta. |
