I just spent 2 hours of my life in a chat with offshore support to fix a license issue. (After updating Premiere Pro CC from 2014 to 2015 last week, it lost my license.) Sony would have had it straightened out in less than 10 minutes. Sigh.
All the Adobe Cloud mouthpieces rant and rave on how great it is. Then I read this and it only confirms what I said to Adobe back when I was part of a focus group when they began exploring a subscription based only model. No thank you.
Challenge is now Vegas Pro is unreliable (for me) and I'm unwilling to base my livelihood on software that can't get its act together. I'm still using CS6 apps and waiting patiently for Davinci Resolve 12 to be released. IF it pans out to be all that Blackmagic is saying, I know the direction I'll go for post work.
