intensity pro?

i took the card out from my nle rig awhile ago because of it freezing up on playback (mainly hdv tl back then) and put it in another to test - but never got round to it.

was wondering whether anyone is using it successfully in 13? my tl nowadays are .mxf if that might make a difference.

am asking cause i really don't want the hassle of having to take it out and reinstall if it isn't going to work.

as an aside - it was working with resolve.

Still using its relative - BMD Decklink Studio 2 - quite happily with VP13, Leslie.

Are you asking about a specific graphics card, or are you asking if the program works with graphics acceleration enabled?

I've got a GTX card in my system with GPU enabled and I'm having no issues -- and I assume most people aren't.

Maybe I don't understand your question.

I'm using an Intensity Pro in Vegas 13 with no problems.

John what Intensity Pro drivers are you using?

@steve - https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/au/products/intensitypro4k though mine is the older hd version.

@jc - me too - what driver?

@tom - better model ;-)

YMMV - principle applies - yes based on selected driver, but a whole lot depends on your Motherboard, and what card slot, and bus management is happening.
Yes, I have it all in VegasPro13 just fine, but I got very very lucky with all that is crammed on the bus.

I am using 10.4 without any apparent problems with VP13
I believe also that 10.41 is available with some fixes for the 4K Intensity version

a final question on my part -

anyone using their inten. pro with catalyst browse / prepare?
Kinvermark wrote on 6/20/2015, 9:22 PM
I used an intensity shuttle with the trial versions of the catalyst software. Worked fine. I regularly use the shuttle with Vegas 13 - again, no problems. Used to crash frequently with older versions. Hope that helps.

FYI, Intensity shuttle uses the same Blackmagic "desktop video" drivers, but runs through a usb 3 connection.
