Subject:Acid Studio 10: instruments playing in wrong key

I've just started using Acid Music Studio 10, and I'm having problems with the Soft Synth virtual instruments. None of the ones I have tried are playing in the right key - for example, I could click on the C key on the keyboard, and the note it plays is actually an A. This happens whether I'm importing a midi file, manually entering a midi note, or playing a midi keyboard connected via USB. Also, the different VI's and instruments each play *different* notes, so it's not like they are all the same degree off from the standard pitch. This happens with Kontakt Elements, Vienna Instruments, and the basic soft synths that came with Acid. Any ideas on how to remedy this? I really like Acid, but this is obviously a show-stopper, that I need to figure out how to fix. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer! |

1. Make sure your keyboard isn't accidentally transposed. 2. Make sure the track you are working on or the clip you are in hasn't accidentally been transposed or shifted. |
