Subject:Weird Display at 1280X1024 on SF 4.5h

Recently upgraded from a Win98 PII system with a All-In-Wonder Pro AGP 2X video adapter and an IBM 9495 flat screen - to a Win XP PIV system with Radeon 7200 and same IBM monitor.
I am getting an undulating weird pattern on the normal blank waveform window (under normal conditions and at other resolutions, it displays the proper "crosshatch" or "gridlike" pattern). Also, when dragging and highlighting portions of an audio waveform, I get a grouping of white vertical scan lines in the highlighed section.
Otherwise, things are OK.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

The strange "wavy" patten is an optical illusion produced by the background "gray" of the window (alternating black and white pixels" when displayed at certain resolutions on the flat screen. I get this same pattern at 1280x1024 on my 17" Trinitron, but not at 1600x1200.

Not much I can suggest other than trying different resolutions or refresh rates.
