Subject:Show File Name Instead of Title

A lot of times I need to save my wavs as mp3s, but when I have several windows open, I don't know which one I'm looking at (wav or mp3) because the labels are all identical. Only when I don't have anything in the title field does it show the file name and extension (in the tabs and the title bar). Is there any way to force the file names to be used instead so that I can tell by extension what I'm working on? |

To show the file name (and extension) in the SF header, remove the file's 'title' name in the metadata . Depending on what version of SF you have, this would be under "View> Metadata" or "File> Properties" .. you can also uncheck the "Save metadata with file" box in the save window, so the subsequent file won't have it. Well, I want to keep the metadata. But thanks for the idea. |

It's probably possible to use AutoHotKey to rewrite the title bar, but what about just docking the file properties window - (shortcut: alt + enter)? |
