Subject:acid.exe Program error

I use win2000 and get program error: acid.exe has generated errors everytime when i try to start it! I have tried to reinstall it and clean the registry and still get the same error! Has anyone got a clue? Maybe conflict with an other program?

Ok same thing here...
people on the forum telling to try a fresh install...I tried many times,
the solution to avoid that error message is to set the .EXE to cmpatibility mode for win 2000,we all know its not good for stability but since nobody came up with a solution...
