Thanks, musicvid & Peter. I still stop in here ever couple days or so... just to see what's going on. Just don't have anything to add as my Vegas activities are pretty much limited to slideshows & < 60 sec videos of wildlife.
I was pretty proud of the following shot from last week... The intro to "la troisième partie"
"How are you getting such high ISO?"Well the short answer is the sensors on the new DSLRs are amazing. My primary camera is a Canon 1Dx. Obviously, low ISOs result in better image quality. That said, I try to keep the ISO under 3000 or so, but in sometimes can get acceptable images at 16,000 to 20,000. see: 16,000 ISO

btw: Those Owlets were in a dark hole.. Canon 1Dx / 500mm F/4L + 1.4 teleconverter.
ISO 250 / 700mm / F8 / 1/200 sec. Rig was on a sturdy tripod & I used a remote shutter to eliminate camera shake.
