Subject:laptop issues;-] Posted by: janboi Date:2/18/2002 10:16:35 AM Hi, just bought Toshiba "Satellite 1005-s157" using the touch-pad in the events field if i move the curser up to select another event the events zoom out horizontally. it is really confusing. Then i triple click the zoom and select the passage to getback to where i was. is it me, the computer, or the books acid 3.0 demo causing this problem? Also, I am going through the Sams book using the demo. i just spent $1000 on this laptop so i am not ready to spend another $200 on acid pro but i want to save stuff. with the B1G1 thing going on I am thinking of buying Techno and getting Music or buying Music and getting Sound Forge. Any advice?

When you're on the timeline, this wheel is used to zoom in and out. Take a look in the mouse settings in control panel and see if you can disable that mapping.
