Hi, I have been creating and editing audio for a few years, but a question has me stumped because of my inexperience in a specific area. A colleague has a wedding video that a friend took. However, the audio was recorded with a lot of background noise and wonderful wind muffing it up. He asked me if I knew how to "clean it up".

Now, logically, I assumed that if the people I worked with could edit photographs and video to clean them up, why couldn't I do this to sound? However, in my experience I have found the more edits you do, the worse a sound gets over time.

Is there any hope for his video audio?

Thanks!
