default recording to "create regions" -Sound Forge - PC

However, when attempting to record another region the app defaults to the beginning of the region just created. But I want to create a new region while keeping the old. In other words, every time I click on "record" I want the app to create a new region without overwriting the old so that I end up with a series of regions or takes, if you will. Is there a setting I have missed that would cause the pointer to default to the end of the region just created instead of the beginning?

SF10 has: - Multiple Takes creating Regions - Multiple takes (no Regions) Which version of Sound Forge are you using? I'm guessing you want to the first option if available.

Which version of Sound Forge are you using? I'm guessing you want to the first option if available.
