ACID Product Family Installation issue -ACID Product Family

Has anyone else experienced the following error message while trying to install one of or all of the ACID Products? Message: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. This followed by: "Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time please run the installation again. Click the Exit button to exit the installation wizard."? If so, does anyone have a fix for this issue? My system is a DELL LATITUDE E6400 running Windows 7 Home Premium edition 32-bit. My Processor is Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8700 @2.53Ghz 2.54Ghz RAM 2.00 GB Laptop computer. ACID Music Studio 6.0 installed and has been for running fine. The updates will not install. Does anyone have an answer for this problem?
