I am somewhat new to ACIDPro 7 and I've a couple of questions: I'm messing about with pitch shift but it seems to speed up the clip (pitching up) to achieve the shift. Is there a way to preserve the timing of the audio file while shifting the pitch? I'm working with a kitcore drum track - midi - is there a way to apply reverb to the midi track? thanks in advance for any suggestions! |

Try the numeric keypad's +- keys. These change the pitch up/down in semitones without altering the speed. Not sure about your second question as i don't do MIDI, but i seem to recall that you can send the MIDI track to a bus, and then add effects to that bus. |

Right click the clip, select clip properties, see "one shot"? change it to beatmapped, "pro" works well, experiment with settings. Kitcore has numerous outputs when you right click the synth itself. Those can then have fx inserted. Remember to reassign kit pieces to the new outputs. Message last edited on3/11/2015 10:30:35 PM byAudioVizionz. |

Hi, if you want to apply reverb you may refer to the kitcore's bus track, you can apply any effect plugins from there, you can also expand your kitcore into individual bus tracks theres an option to expand it, by that you can adjust invividual volumes, EQ, apply effex (plugins) in each drum part & i think you have to enable it from kitcore itself. I'm at work right now if you are unable to pinpoint what I mean just let me know & will try to explain in details as soon as I'm home in front of my DAW. As for the shifting I haven't tried that till now but would be great to have some ideas how to deal with it... |

Thanks for the answers it solved my problems. Changing the clip properties to BeatMap allowed me to pitch shift without changing the speed and I found the spot in the mixing console to apply FX to the midi bus. thanks again! |
