Subject:Transfer Sound Forge License

Hi. I've been using Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 for a little over three years, but it's now time for me to upgrade my system and software. I want to uninstall Sound Forge from my PC and sell the software to a new person. However I cannot see any option in the Sound Forge menu to de-license (if that is a word!) the software so that someone new can register it. Surely it must be possible to do this? Can anyone help me please? Thanks.

Contact customer support with your name and license key, as well as the contact information for the person you're selling to. They'll deactivate your license and assign a new one to the purchaser. I've done this a few times and it works quite well.

Note that if you used your license to get the upgrade discount on the new version, the purchaser will not be able to do the same. You only get one upgrade discount per original purchase.
