Subject:BatchConverter Demo - won't install - Help, pls

I've (twice) downloaded the current demo version of BatchConverter 5.0b, with a view to trialling it prior to purchase. The installation hangs just before reaching closure; the installation window shows: Status: Generating script operations for action" and the fuelgauge proceeds to 100%, the hard drive whirs into life for a few minutes, then nothing else happens. The installation complains when I hit the close X (in the upper righhand corner) and I have to do a fresh boot to recover.

I'm using a PIII 80,. Win98SE, a fairly fresh installation of Windows, 2 almosst empty largish and fast HDD's. The SonicFoundry directoy is installed in C:/Program Files but clicking on any of the .exe files yields wrong results.

Can anyone suggest any other way to install the demo?

Can't help you with our original problem, but when you finally get it to work beware of one thing that the demo does.
It puts audible watermarking in your processed files thereby making them unusable.
So don't use them on original files.
There is no warning of this as far as I know.
Other than that the Batchconverter works fine, but I wish there was a way to batch Acid loop info as well.
