Subject:New Sound Card, can't configure

I am running Acid Music 3.0 on my Windows 98 pc. I recently purchased an Emagic Audiowerks 2 sound card so I could start recording my own loops. However, I can't figure out how to get my Acid Music 3.0 to recognize my new card. It keeps playing through my sound card that came with the PC. Any suggestions? Thanks.

ACID Music (and Style and XPress) all route their audio through the Multimedia settings controlled by the OS.

To change this, go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/Multimedia, and change the Preferred Device for playback (or record) to whichever device you'd like.

go into BIOS settings by holding down f1 as your pc starts up and disable on board pci audio,. DONT under any circumstances change anything else in there.
