I guess this kinda shows my age, but I have been using this older version of SF with Noise Reduction 2 for a long time and haven't had a need to upgrade yet. Sadly, every time I have a computer crash or upgrade my system, I have to go through the whole effort of registering my software. I recently upgraded my system and for what ever reason, I just can't figure out how to get the noise reduction to be seen in the program. I have Win 7 64 - the program installed fine. I installed the Noise Reduction software from the original disk and it appeared to go fine, but never asked me where to put things. Is it possible that because I installed everything to a different drive than the OS, that it gets lost? I don't see where to just add a plug-in. I hope someone is old enough to remember how things worked a few years ago. Thanks |

I guess I'm the only one that goes back that far, but I fiddled around long enough that it is now working. Don't know if I could do it again, but maybe I just needed to reboot several times. ?? Thanks all the same. |

It's recomended SF and NR-2 and other plug-ins should be installed on the OS HD. Typically 'Local disc (C:)' The subsequent drives for audio and video files. |
