I am really disappointed with SF running on OS X Yosemite. Even the update did not correct an annoying issue: When recording it's practically impossible to control the pause and play, the app does not respond. The editing is slow also. I had to go back to Amadeus to make my stuff. When this problem will be solved. If I reset the app it works for the first two or three times but... |

The issue I have (not sure if it's just Yosemite) is that if a plugin goes to the background it is not listed under the Windows menu, so there is no easy way to get it back to the foreground. |

Same problem here on Mavericks 10.9.5....SF is very graphics dodgy on my system. Oftentimes it is an unusable program with the array of plugin graphic animations not functioning (VU meters not metering, Spectrum displays refreshing every 5 seconds and choppy dial/slider movements). Dare i say, not ready for prime time? Krzysztof |

I, too, am disappointed in SF's performance on Yosemite. I've been using SF on various PCs since v.4.5. When I saw an affordable app store version, I decided to run a 2nd instance on a Mac Mini I use for ingest. I didn't get around to regular use of the app until after I had upgraded to Yosemite, but I am unable to use it to record reliably. 2 out of 3 times it becomes unresponsive and I cannot stop the recording except with a 'force quit', which causes me to lose the recording. I've had to return to Audacity for recording on this machine and am left to wonder why this free, open source program works so well while the paid app fails? Suddenly, the app is not so affordable, after all. |

Even though this bug was not mentioned in the abstract on the app store, I was still (momentarily) excited to think I might now be able use the program I paid for. Sadly, version 2.0.4 does not fix this problem. I'm back to using the free, open source Audacity and still wondering why the app I was asked to pay for cannot work as well? |
