How can I delete all those unused file types in the 'Open' box? I hate having to scroll through all those useless file types as I serch for the 2 or 3 types I only ever use. Anybody have a clue? Thanks, Eric P.S. same goes for the long-deleted file folders in the 'Recent' scroll down box. |

Try using Windows Explorer (magnifying glass over a file folder picon) to locate the file/folder on your hardrive. Highlight file or folder and select "delete" in the "file" drop down at the top of the window. I hate it when someone doesn't give me details. So please excuse if this sounds as if I'm too basic. |

Unless I am missing something, you won't be able to remove file types from the "Files of Type" field in the OPEN dialog box. |
