Titler Pro v1

I am not sure how long ago this issue was discussed on this forum but I'll ask now..
What is the remedy for "Titler Pro Can't work due to low GPU capabilities).
This happened after I updated to Windows 8.1 from 8.
I am on Sony Vegas Pro 12, latest build and am still satisfied with Titler Pro v1.

Thanks in advance-

I'm not at my computer right now but . . . I see you have nVidia. Here's what worked for me.

Open your nVidia control panel and ensure that your Vegas EXE file is set to use the high performance nVidia processor. If you can't find this setting, I can post a screen shot when I am at my computer.

On my system (a laptop), it is not necessary to have GPU on in Vegas for New Blue TItler Pro, but the above nVidia setting is necessary or I get the low GPU message.

Good luck!

@Kimberly-
That did it..
Thank you for your time.
I don't really like Windows 8 or 8.1 but my laptop updated without my asking, I think?
I use my laptop when I want to touch-up a project when away from my workstation.

FPP, you should also make sure the Titler Standalone.exe is also set to use the full power of the card as well as Vegas.exe.

@jetdv-
Thank you for the pointer.. I'm not quite sure how to check that.
Even though once Titler pro is up and running, it runs very well.. But If I'm not getting full capabilities of the plug in, then I would like to explore.

As long as Titler Pro is running, you are fine. If you want to add it to specify that the card cannot go into low power mode, you can try either of these options:

Number 1:
a. Open Control Panel -> Nvidia control panel (if you don't have one, install nvidia drivers from nvidia.com).
b. 3D Settings -> Manage 3D Settings - >Program Settings.
c. Select the Titler Standalone EXE and the Vegas EXE from the list or add the programs using the browser.
d. Choose option "High-performance NVIDIA processor", if there is this option.

Number 2:
I went to the NVDIA Settings with the right click from the desktop. Then I selected 3D Settings and the Tab for program settings. There I could select any program (the Titler Standalone EXE and the Vegas EXE) and select it to use automated settings, integrated graphics or NVIDIA processor, so I selected NVIDIA.
