Sorry i'm writing from japan. Sorry for my poor English. I'm running Sound Forge 2.0.3 on OS X Yosemite (10.10) by MacPro (Late 2013). Few weeks ago, I could edit audio files w/o any problems. However, i can't do it now..Because, Nothing is displayed even if I open the file. I tried deletion of cache or Saved Application State, But the problem was not improved. But, I find a fragment of problem. System.log is recorded as follows at soundForge starts. ?\?\?Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + -CreateAudio 0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: HAL: CreateAudio: CurrentprocessName is Sound Forge Pro Sound Forge Pro[9979]: HAL: CreateAudio: connect to kernel class PGKernelDeviceTascamUSB2MKII Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + PGAsioDriver::PGAsioDriver() 0x6200002adce0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - PGAsioDriver::PGAsioDriver() Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - -CreateAudio Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + AudioDriverQueryInterface 0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x00000040 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x00000067 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x0000008C Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x0000004B Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x0000003F Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x00000000 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: unknown interface Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - AudioDriverQueryInterface Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + AudioDriverQueryInterface 0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x00000047 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x00000002 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x00000031 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x00000057 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x0000000C Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x00000055 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: unknown interface Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - AudioDriverQueryInterface Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + AudioDriverQueryInterface 0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x000000E9 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x0000006C Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x0000003E Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x00000092 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x000000E7 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: .. 0x00000045 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: kAudioHardwarePlugInInterface4ID Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + AudioDriverAddRef 0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + PGAsioDriver::retain 0x6200002adce0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: new refcounter is 2 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - PGAsioDriver::retain Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - AudioDriverAddRef Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - AudioDriverQueryInterface Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + AudioDriverRelease 0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + PGAsioDriver::release 0x6200002adce0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: new refcounter is 1 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - PGAsioDriver::release Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - AudioDriverRelease Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + AudioDriverInitializeWithObjectID 0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + PGAsioDriver::onInitializeWithObjectID 0x6200002adce0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: inObjectID 63 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + PGAsioDriver::onInitialize() 0x6200002adce0 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + OSXDeviceManager::OSXDeviceManager 0x6200002e0180 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: HAL: CurrentprocessName is Sound Forge Pro Sound Forge Pro[9979]: + OSXDeviceManager::ScanServices 0x6200002e0180 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - OSXDeviceManager::ScanServices Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - OSXDeviceManager::OSXDeviceManager Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - PGAsioDriver::onInitialize() Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - PGAsioDriver::onInitializeWithObjectID Sound Forge Pro[9979]: - AudioDriverInitializeWithObjectID Sound Forge Pro[9979]: *** Assertion failure in -[NSMenu itemAtIndex:], /SourceCache/AppKit/AppKit-1343.14/Menus.subproj/NSMenu.m:886 Sound Forge Pro[9979]: Invalid parameter not satisfying: (index >= 0) && (index < [_itemArray count]) Sound Forge Pro[9979]: A call to OSACopyScriptingDefinition() by NSScriptSuiteRegistry returned an error. Is this application's OSAScriptingDefinition Info.plist entry valid? If its value is 'dynamic', is there an 'ascr'/'gsdf' Apple event handler registered? ?\?\?Probably this problem seems to be happens by audio device search. Therefore I took off all sound devices. However, the problem was not improved. What happens in NSMenu.m:886? Please help me somebody. |

I have the same problem on my Hackintosh with Mavericks. It works fine on Mountain Lion on my MacBook Pro. Otherwise my Hackintosh has no problems with software. Did you solve this problem yet? I contacted support. |

Anyone? No reply from support at all. Is it normal to take a week? |
