I hope it lives on. I have gone through Cubase, Pro Tools, Reaper, Live, and a few others looking for the ease I had with Acid Pro thinking that Sony has dropped this insane software...none of those "big" sequencers ever came close to my beloved Acid Pro. Personally, I am happy with the current version, I just hope Sony doesn't just drop it in future if they aren't going to update it. It is now the heart of my studio.
