noise reduction plug in. refer to answer to sandaholic's question about removing static at high peak levels. he picked up the plug in and resolved the problem. Old hands like rednroll may know of a way to do it with SF5's stock tools but I had to resort to the plug in for my applications. peter |

newbie: tx. when i first read your reply, all i got was the first three words. i thought, "well now... he's saving ink..." so i wrote tx. then i got your diliniation. thanks very much. now i'll go find how to dl plugins (golly SF5 is HUGE!!!) computers. yay. |

The severe pops you can edit out yourself, by hand, by opening up the file to a 1:1, 2 or 4 ratio and either minimizing or deleting them. The plug-in that pb refers to works well, too. It takes some practise (like any other function that SF offers), but it'll improve the over-all quality of your archives. Good luck, Eric |
