Hi, I have an M-AUDIO Axiom mini 32 keyboard. I mapped the transport buttons in my AP7 with no problem. My keyboard has 8 drum pads on the right which has 2 banks. I mapped them as extra shortcut keys for transport functions like rewind stop & forward etc.. also Zooming track views in my 2nd bank. But I was somehow not happy with the result after finding out that some of my keys were affected in a way that when I try to use my keys to record midi some of the keys were toggling the commands I mapped in the drum pads. Is there a way to separate them from one another to a point that mapping the pads will not affect any of my keys from low to high? I'm new to MIDI so would really need some tips on this matter. This sounds like something that you'd have to configure the Axiom to take care of. The Axiom's user guide illustrates an almost-bewildering array of functions and features so I would consult that if you haven't yet. |
