I just updated to a new build 6 core 8g ram and when i record into SF10 or 11, when i playback the track some of the it or all of the track is garble sounding. I'm using M-Audio Profire 610 and i can't find a Win7 64bit driver just vista. But thats the only hang up the garble sound. I try volume changes, power to the firewire card from the profire610, but I only get garble after i record a track. If I use input monitoring you hear it change to garble or it is garble, but never when I'm just listening. If any one has a solution please help. I'll buy another sound card if I have to. not knowing if that will solve my problem.

For sure is Drivers.
There are drivers for Win7_64 available....
Find suitable drivers at http://www.m-audio.com/support/drivers
Select the 3 criteria
Click on "Show Results"
You may need to select the "Installer+Driver" package first, then latest driver update later....

Why on earth would you install the Vista driver ?!!!

Suggest you try the Win7(64) driver then ! [link]http://www.m-audio.com/support/drivers-search in the "Firewire Series" section.

Another possibility is that it doesn't like your Firewire chipset. People seem to have best success (but not exclusively) with Texas Instrument Firewire chipset interfaces, and least success with VIA ones ...
