I am trying out Acid 9.0 and was wondering if anyone can help me with this BASIC.... Question??? I recorded one track and want to add another track (that I did) BUT I can's listen to the previous track (or tracks through headphones) while recording a new track. I understand disarming the previously recorded tracks while recording the new tracks but I can's simultaneously listen to the previous tracks while recording the new ones. ALSO, I have a USB Microphone that HAS to be plugged in before I open the program or the program will not recognize it. I also find that I have to unplug it if I want to try to listen to a previously recorded track. HELP !!!

ACID requires that you use Audio hardware that has ASIO drivers in order to do "input monitoring".

Many USB mics are input only, so this may not be possible with your device.

What is the make and model of the USB mic.

What is the make and model of the audio output device you are using for playback?
