Subject:Extract Audio problem

I am using Sound Forge 9 with Windows 7 x64 Pro.

For some reason I now have a problem using "Extract Audio from CD". The tracks are listed, but will not play. When I select OK to extract, I get a message saying that there is an internal error.

'SFMMCX'-(17)
''-(2)
-'PLEXTOR BD-R PX-LB950SA 1.06'-(0)
Module mmc.cpp Line 479
The operation is not supported by this drive.

Status: 00000000
Command:
Sense: 00 00 00
Info: 00 00 00 00
Specific: 00 00 00
Extra:

I have re-installed Sound Forge, but it is still not working.

The same thing happens with Sony CD Architect.

I have removed the CD drive using Windows Device Manager and re-installed it. The CD drive will play CDs in Windows Media Player. I can extract CD tracks with onther program.

Not sure what else to try, can anyone help please?

Solved by using another CD drive. Not sure why the Plextor drive would not work, perhaps it is because it is a Blu-ray drive?
